GUESTS AND NEWCOMERS

Holy Annunciation Orthodox Church, located in Liberty Hill, Texas is a mission community of the Avlona Synod (GOC-A), an Old Calendar Greek Orthodox jurisdiction.  Although our mother church is Greek, our services are in English.

Cradle Orthodox, converts, families, inquirers and the simply curious are invited to participate in the life of the mission as we build an Orthodox community right here in Liberty Hill.

If you are new to Orthodoxy, just curious, and want to stop by please do come. Our community enjoys meeting new people, and talking over a cup of coffee and some food after our Sunday services.

SERVICES

Sunday services begin with the reading of the 3rd and 6th Hour Prayers at 9:40 am (or private prayer if no reader is available) followed immediately by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am. The services are led by our rector, Bp. Irineos, and we invite you to join in the congregational singing of the ancient hymns.   When we are able to offer Vespers or Feast Day liturgies, it will be posted on the calendar and included in our weekly e-mail.

COFFEE HOUR

After the Divine Liturgy all are invited to stay for coffee, tea, and pastries.

We certainly hope you will participate together with us in the Orthodox faith and life.
